Look at the UK where in 1996 the private ownership of handguns for sporting use was totally banned, all in the name of styopping crime. What have we today 12 years on is an armed crime rate that has skyrocketed by something like 500% since the ban.

Criminals and nutters dont pay attention to laws, only the law abiding pay attention and if you are law abiding you probably wont go on a rampage with a gun.
Within a few years of the UH handgun ban, handgun crime was higher than before the ban. No surprise really, as it wasn't the Olympic shooters takignout neighboring drug dealers on the street corners

Waste of time pointing that out - it doesn't fit the agenda of the rabid anti-gun brigade and politicians.

You ever seen a cut down semi auto .22? Pretty compact. Baggy clothes would hide it pretty well or a school back pack.

Notice now cops on school grounds up north?

Kinda ring a bell of US back about 30 years ago??

So as I said, watch NZ in 30 years time for likely massacres too.

I know what you mean. Its like watching reruns of the Berkley riots etc. Be it in a more modern setting. When are they going to set up the metal detectors at the school gates here then?

I'd love to know how those cops whoi get assigned to the schools actually feel about it
