Now be reasonable. There is probable half a doz people who need to know what is happening on the bowls scene whereas we all know that the thousands of scummy bikers who went to Paeroa not only don't buy papers but cant read anyway. It will be in the Truth cause the same scum buy papers like that for the Page 3 girlie pics only.

Hey thanks for that tip off - will watch out for it (havn't read "The Truth" for years). Just found they have a "webzine" here: http://truth.co.nz/webzine/ which has the paper from 2 weeks ago (7th). So maybe in a couple of weeks time the scrooges amongst us who want to see the Paeroa coverage can check out the freebee Online version?

How about the scrooges amonst us make an exception and actually shell out the dollar whatever an issue to show that bike racing sells papers. Without increased sales, they wont be inclined to print morestories now will they.

More to the point, Mr Trash, how's the right arm? Cramps gone?

Lousy photos though - couldn't they have found some better ones?

Just to prove I am not a scrooge I brought a copy this morning. Excellent write up and photos, and well done to whoever organised to get it in there - "Mr BikeStore" himself I presume (according to the credits anyway). Good promotion for our sport.

I got mine from "Clarrie Gibbons"/ the old "Post Office Square NewsAgents" on Jervois Quay (am sure you know the one I mean) on the way to work this morning. But I'm sure any shop will have a copy ($2.50).
