    42 Feijoa Vodka.

Tonight I did finish all my beer (Mistake, will not happen again!!!)

So I had a look in the cupboard. And hiding behind all the lolly water and cheap wine was a bottle of vodka.

Now as I am from a cold country where we walk around with a bottle of Koskenkorva (http://www.kossu.org/eng/spirit/) inside our jacket sleeve (not to be tough, but so that the drink does not freeze in the minus 40 degree winter...) I smiled. "Brilliant" I was thinking. "I can live with this: No beer, but a bottle of see throgh".

As I took the first sip I instantly found my self thinking that my oldest boy was playing a trick on his old man: The vodka tasted like liniment!

But when I had a look at the bottle it stated that the vodka was flavoured with Fejoa.

(And just to clarify: I have 2 Fejoa trees on my section and I love the fruit)

What? Vodka is vodka and is supposed to taste like vodka. I mean, would you like your beer to taste like liquorish or the petrol to smell like toffee??

What is the world coming to?

Do you drink this sheit and similar whatsit?

May the bridges I burn light the way.

there is only two ways to drink that stuff one is mix it with apple juice (not my thing)
the other is mix it in a shot with apple sours and madori
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Sorry man, I do... But only if it's the best stuff there is.

Vodka doesn't have much flavour you gotta admit. I prefer vodka with something because of it. However I prefer to mix for myself.

Just keep red Smirnoff away from me.

Alcohol poisoning every time without fail.

Well since Waylander aint online tonight, bugger ya mums phone number Livvy, whats your no?

Me, I like spirits straight over 2 cubes of ice, whether whisky or vodka, because of gut problems, alchohol leaves me feeling like shit, so it's good stuff all the way now, I do like the 42 Below straight vodka, Johnie Walker Green,Blue Label, Glenfidditch Special Reserve and so on.

I drink the feijoa one with sprite. Plain vodka or vanilla vodka with coke.
Lemon stuff with juice or sprite.

I drink the Feijoa 42 Below straight with a few cubes of ice, and take tiny tiny sips, the better to savour the flavour. I do enjoy flavoured vodkas, they are number one in my Spirits Toplist. But a good malty beer is my fave.

Drink it the proper Russian way...
Unscrew the cap and crush it. No need for it, since it will not be used again on that bottle.

    Stolichnaya!

42 Below isn't too bad - the clean stuff, not the flavoured...

There are two tastes that I accept in vodka. Vodka should taste like Stoli or like Smirnoff. IMO adulterated (i.e. flavored) vodkas are for ...ghm... the better half of the humankind. But that's purist in me speaking. Your mileage may vary.

The vodka that should be consumed should be good quality stuff. Absolut or 42 Below will do. Straight from the freezer, no ice, no mixers. I don't care if it's flavoured or not.
