I met her once but had no idea who she was or that she was famous. I was on holiday here the year NZ last won the Americas Cup and got chatting to her and some of her mates in a bar down town. My Kiwi girlfriend and her mate came in to the bar after having dinner and got all excited (and not angry, luckily) and told me that I'd just been flirting with NZ's equivalent of Kylie Minogue!
She seemed really nice. Cute, too.
