yup was exciting until they decided to send cubmans out to "sight" the track and race so they can decide if it was fit for the 125's and superbikes to race on

Pete the pom #111 he had a chain flick off on the Saturday and it damaged the engine case, for some reason it didn't start leaking until part way through the 1st Sunday race, I don't know if he didn't realise (because if he did he should have bloody pulled off) and it can't have been obvious to the marshals or he should have been black flaggednoughty side car spilling oil round the whole track!

I think the real offenders were the guys on Howards old outfit that did most of a lap pouring smoke & lubricating the track, Pete was only spitting enough to make his back tyre slippery.

I was talking to them later they said it was tyre smoke after a shock mount broke and let the tyre rub on the bodywork
