Finding this track quite groovy at the moment, got lots of styles and influences involved in it, and Im liking it.

So, this happened, hopefully more of this sort of collaboration in future.

Vid is pretty well done too.

Not sure if I have posted here about THE KILLS before.

A two piece transAtlantic outfit. Jamie Hince and Alison Mossheart. They've been going for a while (in between other projects) and they stand out for me for her vocals (and the whole Lee Hazelwood Nancy Sinatra vocal vibe they sometimes have) plus some great lyrics (you have to love a song called "Fuck The People" amirite?)

Four studio albums, some live shows blahdeblah. If you remember a project of Jack White's from a few years ago, called THE DEAD WEATHER (their first album, HOREHOUND is excellent) Alison was in that. We saw them at the Powerstation and it was a great rock and roll show.

here are a couple of tracks, one early (from their first album Keep On Your Mean Side)

This is from Midnight Boom - great lyrics

Don't you lot have any happy music?

    Post apocalyptic angry bastards abound.

Here. Simple. Happy. Up. Tom Petty's 2006 offering 'Highway Companion' is full of joy.
Well, fuller of joy than the narky Tom of the 'Last DJ' ten years earlier.
Play it half a dozen times and it grows some earwigs. Not as rocky, but his best since 1979's 'Damn the Torpedoes'.
