    Makana

    This guy was the stand out act at WOMAD Taranaki for us last weekend. Absolutely brilliant 'slack string' guitar skills and passionate performer. His is the theme song of the occupy movement:


    Makana's rendition of James Taylor's 'I've Seen Fire And I've Seen Rain' dedicated to the lost MH370 flight had many people in the audience in tears.

    Makana's show had him retuning his guitar for each song (and guitar style) with a Jack Johnson improvisation at one stage actually. Can't remember if it was for Nectarine.
