Yep. But Pittbull is the weakest track off the album I reckon.

OK, so I am a big Drive By Truckers fan.

My favourite era of the band is the 2004-2009 period starting with SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA and ending with BRIGHTER THAN CREATIONS DARK and roughly corresponding with Jason Isbell's stint in the band. He also wrote a few of my favourite ever DBT songs, in particular "Outfit" and "decoration Day" and "Danko/Manuel" - well, they're his songs not DBT songs but you get the idea.

This is a (MP3 unfortunately) tape of a benefit show that the principals of DBT (Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley) did with Jason a couple of days ago. All acoustic. Pretty decent quality and absolutely worth a listen.

As is Jason's latest record called SOUTHEASTERN and the new DBT called ENGLISH OCEANS.

Its one big-ass MP3 and its the whole show start to finish. It is great. Reading reviews and farcebizzle postings from people who were there, it was a special night.
