I've got one ear on the conversation my parents are having about how I'm a delinquent and listening to Dishwalla.

    Who the hell is Dishwalla!?

Yeah - girls in their summer clothes and eagles (joe Walshes) last good time in town are my definitive sounds of Summer 08.

Why do you think I pointed out that I remembered I was probably one of the youngest posters on this forum?

Dishwalla, obviously, is a band. I'd link you to a youtube vid or something but the internet connection here is slow, so you can do it yourself - my personal favourites of theirs are "Every Little Thing", "Collide" and "Counting Blue Cars".

    Go learn.
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

Counting Blue Cars is good, hadn't heard any of their other stuff till just now. Is ok, not really my thing, but surely your parents don't think you're a delinquent listening to music like that???

Yeah, I'm just relaxing at the moment, so it's more laid back than my usual listening.

My mother, reading over my shoulder, says, "of course she's a delinquent!"

    I think it's just because I'm my mother's true daughter. :

    It's a family trait.

Im listening to a lot of bloody poms on a conference call at the moment.

I would rather be listening to Britney Spears - coz this lot are painful.

Still heading home in 1/2 hour ipod and and a bit of Linkin Park for the ride home.
