Been listening to these guys non-stop since discovering them about a year ago.
Plus just about all the band members have great solo projects as well (Jason Isbell's Southeastern is fucking amazing).

Someone else around here is a big fan of theirs. HD was getting into them a lot if I remember correctly.

big fan myself. I think Cooley is one of the best songwriters since one Johnny Cash. Not a comparison made lightly.

I saw them in Melbourne a few years ago. (Booker T opened, just before Shonna Tucker left).

Isbell toured with Ryan Adams a few years ago... Great show in Dunedin.

My favourite record of theirs (and not to go all HIGH FIDELITY) is either Decoration Day, The Dirty South or SRO, depending on the day. The Dirty South is the first album of theirs I heard and I was hooked from the opening chord of "Where the Devil Dont Stay".

I have been listening t A Blessing and A Curse a lot lately too.
