Anywho, they been playing stuff by year. In this case 1983.
Now I have a soft spot for 80's music. I feel it is often universally maligned.
But 1983 mainstream hits. Jesus wept.
I was listening to that here on Monday...builders on site were tuned into (I guess The Sound) great music for sure, I think for the first time ever in my life, I heard the Beth (KISS) on the radio.

Ahh, the 80's. What a blast.

We get the sound down here too, some cool tunes on there, but not a fan of advertisements blaring away at me. I found an awesome little station from wanaka who play heaps of really cool, weird stuff, but I only seem to be able to get it it franz josef for some reason.

Blimey: my listening for the last wee while is 1980's also:

I finally got the first Psychedelic Furs album on CD. I love it. all their subsequent stuff (which is way more popular) is shit in comparison.

No More Heroes and Rattus Norvegicus by the Stranglers (also Live X Certificate), and I got a best of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and best of ZZTop in the JB bargain trawl.

Oh yeah, I bought the Led Zeppelin Celebration Day boxset.

I may live in gore now, but the 80's I was living in Auckland and hanging out at mainstreet and the windsor castle, as for country, not a huge fan. I do like kenny rodgers and a little slim whitman but most of it is shit in my opinion. Never been to a gold guitars event here yet.
