are you kidding? it was fucking awful. I am no SOAD fan (I particularly dislike Serj Tankian's lyrics, and vocal delivery) but that aside ( and he does consciously ape Saint Jello's vocal style) that version is a version for 14 year old suburban kids who have never heard the original. it is far too jolly and bouncy and way way too self consciously them going "Yeah, we're cool and credible and relevant, see us busting out a DK's cover". It is AWFUL. They are so smug.

I personally prefer the original too, but also like sergs work. Never been a fan of the foo fighters though really. But I do like that version of HIC for some reason.

I must get more T shirts myself. I tend to wear them out pretty quickly. My punks not dead one is hanging pride of place on my garage wall now though.

Quiet build up for first 5 minutes but when it gets louder sends shivers down the spine - great guitar work by Rudi
