    Speaking of The Cure I saw the original 3 piece lineup at the Welly Town Hall in 1980 or 1981: Fat Bob, Lol Tolhurst and, er, the other guy. Great gig.

    i like hong kong garden too, dear prudence etc ive got nocturne and kaleidoscope on vinyl somewhere..i liked nocturne due to it being live and loud!
    has anybody heard her ner stuff? not really for me

    I'd have loved to have seen EmmyLou in Chch then .. I found out about the concert after it had happened .. I pretty much own all her recordings - tho' I prefer the older style ... (And I have a once hard-to-find copy of Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels recorded live in 1973)

    This would have to be my Favourite Gram Parsons' track

    "in my Hour of Darkness" sends shivers up my spine every time.

    My partner bought home a Gram Parsons tribute album a few years ago which was my intro to him (pretty much) and that whole world of so called alt.country.
