R.I.P Eddie, I was pretty downed when I read that today.
This has been haunting me for ages now. I remember when The Stranglers had a hit with it, most confusing at the time.

John Lennon would have been 80 today.
His son Sean shares the same date.

DVD arrived yesterday from Russia after many weeks of waiting - Linda Ronstadt at the Fox Theatre, Atlanta 1977 (Simple Dreams Tour). No dancers, no backup singers, no fancy lighting, no costume changes and definitely no auto tune - just track after track (20) of great songs by a truly talented singer and band.

There are bits and pieces on Youtube but 'Mississippi Queen' was their big hit and the studio version is crisper than the live performances some of which were done years later. RIP the Great Fatsby.
So audio only, short and sweet, Mississippi Queen it is.
