A few years back I'd fallen asleep listening to the BBC. I awoke in the small hours to hear someone likening an accoustic guitar player to Jimi Hendrix. That's a long bow to draw. I noted the name Antonio Forcione and ordered a CD. (I did say it was a few years ago.) I've just been playing the CD in the car again which reminded me.

    He is certainly a talent.

If you like listening to proper (late 60s / 70s) and even later stuff, there is a website that streams the Bill Grahams Filmore concerts among other things. $3.99/mo seems a small price to pay for these gems www.wolfgangs.com (wolfgang was Grahams birth name)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Has it improved any over time or is it the same self-indulgent tosh it's always been?

Yoko Ono was the best thing to happen to the Beatles. The peaked in 1958 playing in Hamburg with Pete Best and Stu Sutcliffe. Downhill all the way after that.

    Glastonbury.

Not gonna put in a specific link coz I'm finding stuff all over the place.

I have to go back one more time, it's still the best festival on the planet IMHO. Maybe better.

Stumbled across this, late as ever.

    Bit niche but impressive playing.
