Typo from a coworker today had this get in my head:
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
This track was a mind fuck when I heard it. In no way does this sound like something from 1969.
Yesterday Phil Collins was trending on Twitter. That often means whoever is trending has shuffled off this mortal coil. Not this time.
You may already be aware but there is a YouTube thing where people react to music they have never heard before. Young people, particularly young black people. can be amazed at the music from the late 60s and the 70s. They've never heard anything like it.
There's a couple of college guys, both musicians I think, and they kept saying the bands were ahead of their time, To that extent I disagreed, that era musically was the time.
Anyhoo, this is what got Collins trending.
