Best of all you can go for a swim, work on the tan, and generally just perv at the chicks that were swimming in thin white t-shirts!! :love2:

Nice, Piha ride sounds like a good option.....just the long haul to get out into the open along Titirangi road.

The annoying thing with living in central auckland is the ammount of time it takes to get to the open road.
down, I"m going as fast as I can

I really enjoy the kaimais or the back roads on the southern side of lake karapiro.
however my favorite rides are Paekakariki hill, Akatarawa road and the rimutaka hill. now those are some trick rides.

this xmas will explor the coro loop... that might change my mind :spudwhat:

But twice I rode on the track, and many many years ago, when I was a youf, I used to ride on the dirt, the road, the grass, whatever.

And I've ridden on snow twice, which wasn't the time this year when I rode a snowmobile on the snow. That was the bestest.

Once at wellsford, head north through te-hana take the first road on the right and follow it to waipu. Then you can brave the flocks of up sh1 to oakliegh, turn left down the mangapai rd,then left down the road to paparoa, back to sh1 then back to wellsford.....Good ride.
