A good friends work mate is in her mid 30's, similar height & weight & she LOVES her Daytona 675
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I guess lots of practice at emergency braking would fix that though eh?

I sat on a 675 the other day, and it did feel quite comfortable. Almost more comfortable that the SV650, I guess due to the COG being lower??
I don't think the brakes are that good, but like all things practice is the way to go.

The 675 is a fantastic girls bike

Ive just bought 1 terribly excited. Im tippy toes on the 955 and this bikes slimmer so not to much of an issue im hoping. Its more a case of getting used to the extra height and planning ahead ive found. 1 degree gradient in a carpark facing the wrong way and im struggling. but hey..... the view up theres great!

I want one, I want one, I WAAAANT ONNNNNE! :spudgrr: (Why is there no 'tantrum' smilie??)

Have fun! Let me know how it goes. Hows about a piccy?

I'm hoping to go for a ride on hubby's 748 when it comes back from repairs, so that will give me an idea how I'd cope with a taller bike.

    675 Street Triple

I've bought the Street Triple, 675. this is a bit lower seat height to the 675 Daytona. All the sporties were far too high for me. I love it. Heaps of grunt, & great stopping as well. I've come from a Bonnie Amercia, cruiser to this Triple & absolutely loving it. I'm approx 5'5", slim & the bike couldn't be a better fit. A slight bit higher from the cruiser, but aren't they all. I bought it from Lyndsey at Bayride, Tga, & I couldn't go wrong. I was looking at the Ducati Monster, but was just a bit 'top heavy' for me. Both the seat heights were the best though, with the sporties. I don't find the brakes too harsh, but have to respect them, or I could be doing front wheel stands before I'm ready. Otherwise a superb bike. Makes you just want to have fun & all I want to do now is learn all those tricks.
