exhaust mod

hi im a bit of a newbie to bikes and just wanting to put a can that i scored off trademe

the can i won was a scorpion slip-on and was off an old suzi gsxr 750 slingshot. i have a suzi rf400. just wanting to know if the can would be compatible with my rf or not and also the can is welded on on the rf. the pipe from the headers is too big to just slip the new scorpion can on so is it possible to just weld a smaller pipe on the end and chuck the scorpion can on?
