    FOR SALE: Yamaha YZF-R1

Well guys and girls, I have decided to bite the bullet and sell my bike. It is a fantastic example of the first model, has only 10,500km, and is the tidiest one I have seen. I have just had new tyres fitted, they are Michelin Pilot Power 2cts and are not even fully scrubbed in yet. I will get a new WOF and rego for the buyer plus I'll do an oil and filter change too.

Why am I selling? Well I have a recurring injury from work in my arm and I just don't enjoy the low sportsbike bars anymore. So will be buying something with a more relaxed riding position (something cool though, I haven't gone soft yet!!)

I wanted to offer this bike to KBrs before I advertised elsewhere. So if you want it be in quick!

    Price for KBrs $9,500.00

    Thumbs up

Is it just me or is that pretty darn cheap? Hrm, wondering, is this too much of a step to go from a CB175 to this? I mean, the powerband on the 175 is pretty lethal as it is. What about learner licence dispensation, I wonder...

Good luck with the sale though!

Yep I think its a great price given the low k's, condition, and new tyres. This is a special price for you guys though, if I advertise it elsewhere it will be for more. And yes this is a shameless bump.

Anyone know how I can link this thread to the bike trader? So the ad shows up in the box on the homepage. Cheers.

damn......if I were still going to be in NZ in the next billion years I'd have made you an offer and told you to put it inthe garage until I got there.

Nice ride man. Its a lucky bastard that gets that bike from you.
