No - not unless by some fluke they have the same head size and shape.
And only if you don't value the safety of your kids. See previous posts regarding correct sizing and weights for kids helmets.
It's false economy and down right irresponsible as a parent to just get one helmet 'for the kids' as if you look after then they can easily be sold to someone else second hand when your kids get a little bigger.

I take offense that you are implying I don't care about my kids.
That is why I am trying to find a good helmet.
That is why they are not on the bike in my old helmet.
A key word in my post was HOPEFULLY.
I have been around the bike shops and none of the 'kids' helmets fit.
So i was looking at other options. I have no issues spending 200 bucks on my kids helmet. Plus the other safety gear that is required.

Yep, I have seen something similar to the Arai thing before. That was when I discovered I had been wearing the wrong size helmet myself for over 15 years.
Looks like I might have to get a MX helmet, as there doesn't seem to be too many choices in road helmets for kids.

You aren't alone on that sizing issue, it amazes me how many people don't realise they have the wrong size helmet. Selling your customers correctly sized safety gear (and the best they can afford) should be paramount to them.....after all a live customer is a damn sight more profitable for a shop than a dead one..
MX helmets are certainly a good way to go as far as the weight side of things go.

Um guys Been there seen that--er a "few" times.
Road lid wise HJC do/did a youth range of lids.
This is important because the actual SHELL is smaller and they have sizing in the liner to suit different size heads.
If money is no object Shoei do a XXXS lid.
Yes MX lids and goggles are available in kid sizes but be careful the chin of em gets slammed by the wind if they turn their heads. Hurts like heck Im told.
Jet type open face. lids are also available in kids sizes. Not so much face protection BUT they weigh bugger all.
Years ago FFM helmets in Waihi would actually make you lid liner --mostly for people with HUGE melons.
