Was walking past the magazines in my local dairy yesterday and something caught my eye... I think it was the bunny ears, and theres my mate Trudes on the cover! Awesome read chicknleather, even my mum had a good read of it and enjoyed it, even though she doesnt ride. Keep up the good work!

Hey honey that's a great idea. I never thought of showing it to my mum. She is actually warming up to the whole 'daughter loves and rides motorbikes whether I like it or not' deal.

For sure! Its quite an inspirational read esp for females who dont ride, I am quite lucky my mum is proud that I ride a bike, and likes to brag about it. Got her on the back of a Harley once, (Thank you Wellington Harley Riders!) and now shes totally hooked on bikes!

I sent my mum a copy and she shows everyone who walks in her door and tells them all about how her daughter is a complete tomboy and was always trying to get dirty and greasy as a child too!!

Trudes how sweet. My mum had a screen saver of me at the slipway up - almost knee down and a guy she worked with said cool does your son ride a road bike too? To which she said she took great delight in correcting him that it was infact her daughter it's taken her a while to just chill out and try to see why I enjoy it and she is doing remarkably well not being down on it as she was initially.

If it wasn't for those bunny ears I would (whose stupid bloody idea were those!! No wonder nobody takes me seriously!!)
My mum is very proud and thinks it's way cool that I'm out there doing what I want, when I told her about riding in the crap weather at the BOB she thought that was just the coolest thing that I was a hard bitch!!! However I don't think I'll manage to ever get her on the back of a bike!!
