Hey Cheryl! WOW .. I went n bought the 1st Issue of FMRiders this afternoon (yes I know a little slow off the mark lol) at Loveridges Lotto in Hawera, and with coffee in hand I sat at my dining room table and read it from cover to cover. Awesome stuff mate, truly. Proud to support this inspiring & educational & informative publication. All the stories were well worth reading and some awesome causes to support in there to. I have (and really just have now discovered) a particular interest in the Womens Racing (thanks to your stories) both the FIM & Track .. stirring up some competitive feelings inside me! lol .. these girls rock! totally loved it .. & will definitely be supporting this Mag. Fantastic job & looking forward to Mays Issue, well done!

The obvious cafe to profile in Auckland is in the Motomail store in College Hill. They have a good range of riding gear (including the best women's gear I have found in Auckland so far), the staff are very helpful, and you can have a coffee at the same time. Heaven!
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
Hi Klingon
Thanks for this, great to hear you can obtain great coffee at Motomail at College Hill.
Just thought I would also ask if you ladies are able to give me an indication of where you buy your gear from and your motorcycles as I would be interested to list these, as per Biker Angels requests as to where the most popular shops are and the best gear for the best price!
Cheers

Hey Cheryl. Big well done on the mag, and i was so excited to see me in it! Having been a recent purchaser of gear TSS in lower hutt has a really good selection. Brenda is brilliant but moving onso hopefully they will keep up the selection.
The other place that I have really liked is cycle treads in Auckland. They certainly have the biggest selection of ladies draggin jeans and a really good selection of other gear as well.
When I got my bike I just purchased gear from the local bike shop because that is what I thought you do. However, the selection wasn't that great, and now that I've had a little look around, next time I'm going to go further afield to get my gear.

Hey Cheryl,
Just an idea... What about putting in an article on trackdays? Involving how to enter, the basics of what you need/what to expect and maybe even getting some one to do their first trackday and write up on how they found it?

Read one last week - loaned by a KBr. I hope this keeps going as it is great to read up about some real people and their experiences. The mag will need some advertising I am guessing to keep it financial and I like a few ads on stuff to wear and look good in etc.
Game on.
Hi Cindymay
Yes you are correct, would be good to get some advertisers on board, unfortunately, NZer's take a wait and see attitude towards anything new, it is hard to get people to come on board even after they have stated they would like to advertise. However, I will endeavour to keep pushing in the hopes that someone will be an early adopter and will advertise in NZ's only Female Motorcycling Magazine.
Thanks
