OYY__NUFF OF DA OLD--he's my age thank you
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Well done Glen![]()
Built for speed, not for comfort
Congrats Glen - well earnt and well deserved.
pretentious moi?
Congrats Glen, well done![]()
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
go the big ginger!!!!! good work mate you did the hard yards down south and cruuuzd to victory up north well done
Nice work fella. Good to see see someone doing it the old fashioned way, with hard work.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
- James Dickey, Cherrylog Road.
Can't believe the bad luck you had with your bike after all the consistant results down south.
For those that didn't know. Glen had to fit a new engine at Manfeild when his gearbox failed on the practice day and at Puke he had to use a borrowed bike after another mechanical problem (possible valve spring broken).
Congratulations Glen you must be relieved to have finally got the last few remaining points to secure the title.

Took you long enough!

Exploring pastures anew...
Awesome Stuff Glen!!!
i'm looking forward to learning from you and the best in F3 next nationals
well done dude!
Taking it to the track thanks to: KIWIBIKE INSURANCE & PIRELLI TYRES, EXPERIENCE MOTORCYCLES, EBC Brakes, SUPERSPROX Sprockets, TSUBAKI Chains, RST Leathers, REPSOL Oils, FutureGrafix, Autolink
Unfortunately Glen, it is almost certain that MNZ will now introduce an (uncharacteristically enlightened) rule that anyone over 40 who has already won a F3 title must retire to post-classics (proposed clause 58.3.2: `... especially anyone whose last name is Williams or Fitzgerald (68yrs - the shaven mo' aint foolin anybody).
Quite right, and will give the 35-40 yr old `youngsters' a fair chance at F3 next season.
Well done Glen, you worked hard for it mate!
PS, so, are you interested in racing a SuperBike again now????????
I fear the day technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots! ALBERT EINSTEIN
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the congratulations. This season taught even an old fella like me a few things, - for you up n comers.
1) Patience on the track - even in sprint races there are patterns, strengths & weaknesses that develop with both yourself & your competitors.
2) Pre-season preparation of machinery & testing this to the limit as much as possible early on - so as to always find the way forward.
3) Invest in good gear for both man & machine & brands that have technical support at the track.
4) Always surround yourself with positive & knowledgable people at the track - that seek solutions to problems & who can observe & be critical of your weaknesses (& strengths)
5) Carry plenty of spare parts.............
6) Pray that if you do have a problem , its not during a race & you have enough helpfull hands around to sort it out FAST !
Cheers to everyone involved & to the kiwibikers who popped in & said hello at the track.
Glen Williams
