If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
Oh yeah the lube tool has several steps inside so you have to locate it depending on the cable outer size.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Roger! Planning to cover myself in lube tonight.
Hang on.
That's not right.

Oh yeah, ok on exposed throttle cables but on carbs that the cable enters the carb one doesn't want to lube the cable without removing it from the carb.
On those thin cables I'd be careful what I sprayed down there. Maybe CRC would be best. Chain wax I would think would solidify somewhat, they are a bit more pesky than clutch cables. Routing & adjustment becomes critical too.

I've got some Silkolene Graphite lube I shall use.

Just did the clutch cables on both bikes and using the tips from the video and F5Dave's tips about using pliers to tighten up the lubing device, the only mess was at the other end![]()
The Suzuki was a piece of cake to do.
The Kawasaki involved several swear words. You have to dismantle the entire clutch lever assembly and there's a little spring in the span adjuster and the cable won't come out until the lever is removed from the housing and the pivot and span adjuster removed.
This whole thing has been kicked off by Mrs Hitcher riding the Kawasaki several months ago and complaining about a heavy clutch. You do get used to how things feel as they wear out. I can crush keyboards with my left hand and I know why now. I also know why people like working on Suzukis and frown a little bit when I request a service on the Kawasaki.

It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
Can someone please show me how to covermyselfmy bike bits in lube?
