With a garage and some capable hands we're able to have a spanner night once a month in East Auckland.
Can we get some feedback to gauge interest; Lets see what you'd like to learn/achieve.
Feel free to add suggestions and comments

would like to learn the basics & more serious stuff ..
esp dunna like bothering others to fix the old girl, & it gets expensive paying someone else to do it all
but then I guess your talking aucks area huh ?
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
Would be great to get a handle on the basics and more of looking after my bike.......especially from the horses mouth.
Would also be good if the time was not too late in the evening so that those of us that live on the 'other side' can come strait after work instead of doing a huge round trip.
I would like to do, chain, oil, spark plugs, look after break and throttle cables etc. You never know I could be doing my own service.......

Make it either free or at cost-price.
Because the attendees will learn a lot and get an excellent impression of Bikestore, and will be your customers again and again.
They'll be "captured" in marketing-speak.
When I was looking for my first 250cc bike, I would have been strongy attracted to buying from a shop that had a night like that to learn to keep it safe mechanically and do small things myself.
Some shops sell you a bike and then don't seem to want to know about you after that. Those spanner nights will help form a relationship with your mechanically inexperienced customers.
Good luck!
Everything.
I'd be keen.
"It would be spiteful, to put jellyfish in a trifle."\m/ o.o \m/

how about a race/trackday prep and tuning night
XLR8 Racing
Spectrum Motorcycles
Computerforce
Metzler, Maxima oils
how to clean and get an old XR250 going.........
Dead keen.
"And, look, the luscious and fecund fronds of the Silver Fern has given brilliant birth to a stupendous fruit! A red Hondaberry, desposited by a lesser known species of Plonker Gittus Maximus Idiotus."
Have you got a mechanic coming?
I'm looking forward to seeing what you did with all the shit we dumped in your garage on Sunday. You can't fucken swing a cat in there, let alone a spanner.
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
Offer everything. Perhaps a different "topic area" each night?
One, possibly two per month?
