    Hard line on 'taggers'.

Ok, so the government has said in the last couple of days they're going to get tough on 'taggers'.
Great news but it annoys me that they've only decided to get tough because a tagger (an offender) was killed as the result of his tagging and not because of all the millions of dollars worth of damage that these cretins have done 'expressing themselves'.

It's like saying crimes only become important when the criminals start getting hurt because of it.

I just can't quite come to terms with it all.

I'm just SO glad that the $200 I have spent on paint and rollers in the last 12 months to cover tagging, has paid off and will benefit others.

Geeze, it made front page news...sums up NZ sometimes when that is the only important thing they can say.

Pity the Govt could not work on more important matters. Taggers is hardly a major and all they will do is get someone over 18 to get the paint or start using paint brushes and tins of paint so guess the Govt will pass a law about that next.

Sorry what an over reacting bunch of bollocks.

Jesus Christ, please keep that idea to yourself. I can see Polytechs all over the country offering courses in it.

I think anyone caught tagging should have 'loser' tattooed on their forehead.

Just as long as it's not offered as a separate course.
