For sale- Sprint steering damper

Sprint steering damper which has been totally unused for the last 5-6 years and sat in a spares box.

This unit was a spare for use on a Yamaha R1 Open class Superbike I ran in the UK and was to have been fitted down the frame side.

It was a spare for the Ohlins unit i'm selling in another listing.

Its not been serviced but still seems to be working perfectly with no stiction points and a smooth flow of the damper rod accross the various settings.

The body length of the unit is 223mm and the overall length of the rod from end to end is 417mm

These dampers were used on a 1999 R1 that we ran on and off through until 2002.

That bike had a pre drilled mounting point on the frame rail for a damper.

The dampers are not bike specific but that's the bike they were used on.
