I agree with Mikkel. 'ate 'em. Crippling anxiety over whether you even have a chance, not sure if you should do anything about it, find out later a best friend that you had told all this about had told them and everyone else and was laughing behind your back, then they go out with some jock with the personality of a compost lid, spiralling into depression, etc.

Then you meet some random gothic chick with a fishnet top and purple hair at an underground death metal concert, find out you both like an obscure band called Anorexia Nervosa that neither of us know anyone else likes without our influence, been going out for almost a year, not quite the dream girl yet but she's saving up for a bike. No silly crushes to deal with

Bikes make a great conversation starter - I remember when I first laid eyes on my ex, I was attracted by his bike. Didn't know much about them, but I noticed he was riding a gsxr. I asked my friend's biker boyfriend and he said it would be a 750 or an 1100, so next time I saw him I said "Nice bike, is it a 750 or 1100?" The grin on his face was priceless and he was SO impressed. (OK, I cheated, but HE didn't know that!) My next question was, "Will you take me for a ride sometime?" He turned out to be an a***ole, and I eventually met my dream man who rides a much better bike So there's a happy ending for everyone

You're a biker chick so it'll be easy finding plenty of drooling guys.

Just go out on some bike rides. Best not to post a thread about yourself, they tend to get ridiculed. Shifty guys and jealous girls, etc.

    Hahaha, great story!

hey, I got reminded of you today, there's some mad student here who rides an AX100, looks pretty well used but still tidy. It's the the cutest bike in the bike park.
Ah good on ya mate. I was just being sarcastic, ya never know..... At least speak to the girl and see if she is actually as nice as she looks then go for it!!

And are you saying tha I'm mad or as cute as an AX100?!

Well, it's not so much about whether you have a chance or not (of course you do!) - it's more the anxiety of fucking it all up because you're anxious.
Play your cards right and you'll have her screaming for more inside an hour - play it poorly and she'll loathe you forever...

Always easier to pull if you truly don't care I'm afraid.

Yeah, how nice of Steam to share his story with all of the internet...

But yes, he should definately go for it. I got money on the outcome already
