Ah oil gets hot too! go on see if yours can last 7 minutes on the rev limiter. Air, oil, water cooling relys on the bike actually moving and getting some air-flow to stop it overheating.


The only good thing about that clip is that it was not a Honda - then it would have played for 60 painful minutes.


Actually with all the electronics on a modern engine I am surprised that the computer is not set to shut the engine down if it has been on the limiter for X period of time.

Yea lol would never put my bike to the limiter like that even for a joke,

my kat gets pretty warm if you leave it sitting at idle for too long,but then again ive let it sit for long periods of time and it seems to just get hot very fast then sit at a constant temp till you get it going then cools down a little,also good on winter rides as the heat radiates out the vents in the fairings and onto your legs keeping them toasti warm .
