I got to check the rain radar onm tvnz.co.nz, it shows no rain.

Go to Met service, check the auckland rain radar for every hour for the last 8 hours, no rain within 150kms.

WTF? or im just imagining the rain?

    It's a regular.

To tell proximity of precipitaaaaaation in Auckland:

    look outside

check met service site - if the radar has stopped functioning you know it's heavy.

Big Dave's right. The northern radar had stopped working. The MetService animation shows it back at the 1pm frame.

Perhaps it is "stealth rain"? The stuff that cannot be picked up on radar...

Ask anyone in aviation. Radar ONLY breaks down when the weather is shit.

You guys don't know real rain until you've ridden the South Is West Coast during the wet season. That's when the rain bounces back up off the road and you are getting water from all directions. Now that's real rain(in a deep baritone)
