B/S BT002 - why do they go blue?

I have googled and searched but I've found conflicting info.

I've have these on the 748 and between rides, after sitting in the garage for a week, they go blue where they are scuffed.

    Q1: is this normal?
Q2: is this the tyre over heating?

    I run 34psi front 38psi rear.

It isn't an issue it's just stuff that goes into making tyres seeping through the compound after a heat cycle.

The Zed's Avons go blue over the course of a week too.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

That's what I thought, and I've found similar statements elsewhere.

Funny thing is that the assessor that looked at my bike was using this as evidence that I had been track riding, he told me I had cooked the tyres and was implying that I had dropped it on the track.

I thought he was very funny

The 002's are a road race tyre aren't they? Its the oil in the softer compound rubber that comes to the surface after going through a heat cycle, nothing to do with cooking them, after you sort your claim tell the assesor he's a plonker
