    First anniversary

Yesterday (Saturday) marked my first anniversary as a KiwiBiker contributor.

I found this site by accident while looking for the Kiwibike insurance web site to check out details for my newly purchased ZRX1200R. This weekend marks one year and 33,500km happy kilometres travelled on said ride. It's also Mrs H's "Marauder" anniversary.

And what a fun year it has been too. The world of on-line bikers has been illuminating, entertaining and, at times, educational. While we may share a common passion in motorcycling there is much diversity to celebrate -- and spelling and grammar to correct!

    Farrrrk.

Why does time accelerate in step with advancing decrepitude?

Nice to have you here, old bean!

Funny how time flies, isn't it.

If you're ever inclined to morbidly dwell on the fact that your death is a year closer than it was when you scratched your head for twenty seconds, thinking, "'Hitcher' will do, I suppose", you can console yourself with the thought that there's an excellent probability that *I'll* still be alive then.

So, given the above, the undeniable and increasing creakiness of your ancient frame, the endless pain, the futility of everything, and all that...

Can I have your bike when you die, mister?
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

Hmmm. Maybe I should have said "Su gargre es mi gargre"?

    Heres to plenty more years.
