    Someone forgot to tell these fellas that they had moved into the 90s.

    The early '90s still had a lot of 80's influence though. He is an awesome guitarist.

    Yep - he has made some pretty cool songs. Doesn't change the fact that the video is so tacky it's beyond hilarious.

    One of my mates attended a guitar workshop with Yngwie in Copenhagen back in the late 90s. Mr. Malmsteen showed up slightly hungover, lit up a cigarette, popped open a strong beer and got down to the business of giving a guitar lesson. Probably not quite unlike:

    Whatever synapses he's got not engaged in remembering sets like that and managing to play them can't represent a great deal of space. I figure he's entitled to fill 'em up with whaterver he likes. But then he ain't coming to dinner at my place anytime soon...
