    Gravel warning.

There was a line of fine gravel on the newly realigned south bound Onewa on ramp. I hit it yesterday and my front wheel slid It was still there this morning, so watch out.

    +1 Yep, watch out.

I also hit the gravel, but I was pretty upright so nothing really happened. What scared me more was going round the onramp on Monday morning, half asleep and not realising that they had re-routed the onramp and had not coned off the original route either, so suddenly I was faced with two routes and a concrete wall in between, I almost targed fixated on the wall!

There are no signs for the gravel (still there, just passed it earlier, it's not a lot but if you're leant over it'll be something to watch out for) but there is a sign saying "NEW ROAD LAYOUT" about 10, 20m before the new routing.

i hit that shit too, there was someone in an orange coat watching as i tried to stay upright(thanks AWNMR). right in the middle of the lane on a corner. you would think after 3 days of it being there, they would do something about it.

I think the gravel is gone isn't it? Went past there about an hour or so ago and didn't see any...

Excellent, as I had forgotten about following it up until now.
