    Wellington Newbie (MIXONE)

Hi guys and girls.I'm new to KB but have been riding bikes for about 40 years.
Current ride is a Classic 1987 BMW K75S which I've changed around a little bit for more comfort.I would like a few more horses but I suppose it is easier keeping my licence as is!Based in the nation's capital at the moment but have lived in many places throughout NZ and ridden most places.
Favourite rides?Coromandel loop,Buller Gorge,Coast Road,Haast Pass. The list just goes on and on.Let's face it if God rides a bike his favourite place would be "Godzone".

    Welcome to the Madhouse...

Come along to a TCWNR (wednesday night ride)... Meet some other Wellingtonians, go for a ride, have a drink and feed, talk, and finish off with another ride...

Welcome aboard. Just keep an eye on the threads. There are always rides going on. Wednesday night is cruisy night - meets at Avalon duck pond 6.00 for a 6.30 depart. Destination decided on the night.
Thursday for a 'slightly' faster ride. same place and time (I think).
Then there is the Sunday morning ride 10.00am at the Caltex Upper Hutt.

You will always be made to feel welcome which ever ride you turn up for.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

    Welcome to KB MIXONE

Nice collection of favourite rides. I'd love to check out some South Island roads.

You don't by chance reside in the Newlands area? I've seen a couple of older Beemers up that way recently.

I mean being an older bike it's a lot easier to ride at under licence loosing speeds. Most new bikes do everything so well that they are boring at anything under 140k.
Never too old to Rock n Roll.
