    Selling my beloved GN125 2003

    Hey guys,

Unfortunately due to circumstances I have to sell Black Betty.

she's a great little run about and in my opinion the greatest learner's bike.

now, her speedo isn't working at the moment but I can fix that before selling as I'm sure it's just a simple thing like a snapped cable. If not fixed before sold I will drop the price.

her WOF and rego are as stands:

    WOF due: 04/09

    Rego due: 6/07/09

The top box is in decent condition, the only thing is that it's missing a hinge (i guess you'd call it) on the left hand side of the lid. Still works fine though. But the bike can also be sold without it if you don't want it.

feel free to PM me to come check it out etc.

    The price is negotiable.

I'd say chuck it on Trademe, about 3 weeks ago I put my 2003 GX125 (same engine, different styling - I think) on Trademe, for $1400, and it sold in less than 24 hours of me listing it. The guy didn't even come to view it first, either, because I had some nice pics up.

Hope you are not giving up riding permanently.Your speedo drive is probably stuffed, common fault on GN's.Can't remember how much they cost now, easy to replace.I ended up fitting a 2nd hand one after the third time it went.PM squiggles he might be able to help ya. Use trademe.
    Cheers

cheers guys, i'm not wanting to sell it TOO soon though.. but nah not giving up riding altogether, it's just a little phase where a car would be more suited to my needs more of the time. I can still ride Indy's bike so i'm fine with that for the mo.

and yeah i heard the speedo's go on GNs quite a lot. but yeah, what is said above still stands, i could fix or anyone who buys it can fix if they want. (i'll most likely do it though)
