Im a fan of Solid Gold mostly down here. I'd listen to Radio Hauraki but its only AM down here and sounds like crap.
If Solid Gold is playing crap I generally flick over to the Rock for a song or two then back to Solid Gold.
One hell of a ride.
Obviously there is a % of the population that tolerate it for it to have continued so long, but all the Shazzas shouting at me in their 'unique radio voices' every 15 minutes on commercial radio drove me away from it.Oh, they are bad!!! Radio stations suck! They play the same songs over and over again so even if there is a diamond in the rough you soon get sick of it.
If I do listen to radio I love inferno 107 in dunedin, sweet punk and rock including some local bands, though again they do play the same songs over and over.
One hell of a ride.
