Im a fan of Jack FM. Fucken awesome music.

You think the rock has a good no repeat work day, well let me tell you, the rock has shit (I mean about 100 songs on its regular playlist). Jack FM has about 1000 songs. You wont hear the same song in the same week.

They only play "what ever the fuck I like". No requests, just good music.

Yes, BFM, George, The Concert Programme, Fleet FM and occasionally 1ZB (oops) with a bit of Sportstalk thrown in for good measure. Well, that was before Radio Ipod turned up in the car - "No static at all"

Solid Gold here too....wife hates it, thinks i'm old and boring (well I am when she is around)
I love listening to Blackie....grew up listening to him on Hauraki...

If there were any "Decent" country stations in CHCH I would be listening to them, but the only country station is weak (in signal) and pathetic in it's play list....

What I don't listen to is anything with "country" music or afroamerican on it, unless it's Jimi Hendrix. Also avoid middle-o-the-road type music. Oh and girl bands, can't stand them. Hauraki is getting harder to listen to because it's just so cut and paste and like the Rock spends way too much time on meaningless pap in the mornings. What do they need 2 announcers for anyway, why don't they shut up and play music? If I want talk or sport then ZB or National. Listened to Willy Jackson and John Tamahiri a couple of times because at least you know it's total bullshit and they're not pretending to have any level of safistication. Tractors and chainsaws don't seem to help reception of anything much but AM frequency.

What are some good Country music stations on the internet?

Im a big fan of The Highway Men, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash etc so something along this vein would be excellent.

I thought KiwiFM folded years ago?

What a waste of Channel Z that was.

Neither, I just sing as I'm riding along..if I don't remember the words I just make 'em up. Sometimes I make up the tune as well. I tell ya, one can be most creative whilst wearing a helmet, and the best part is, the audience (i.e. me) Thinks I'm fantastic and very entertaining!

Sometimes I sing 'HOLY SHIT', under my helmet. Or 'F**ken Dumbass cage'.. One day I actually might get down to writing some more lyrics to these personal all time classics
