Perfect. Ram look pretty handy with the modular design so might go for one of those. Can probably leave the ball in all the time and just clip the camera on when I get the muse.

I'm hoping it's low enough under the screen to not be mega windy but only testing will tell.
you can always ride directly in front or behind me.. I'm just about always recording video.. babahah and I do have footage of you at the last track day.
Although this time hopefully I'll get to ride more sessions...

Oooh that's so cool! You wouldn't happen to be planning on uploading some of that footage to YouTube by chance?

I just got my ram mount today and ran the camera flat playing. Looks like it will do a good job but record time will be limited by memory and battery life. Your rig is a million times better!

.... I think i'll be able to get it on u-tuber BUT in a week or two as I'm swamped swamped with work...like I've never been before!

re your rig-the good thing it st. to ram - no need to carry a record cam - but yes batteries can soo catch you out-get extra and chance EACH session or be doomed to loose your lovely lines in a black-screen-of-dead batts.

I spend days before these trackdays recharging my batteries, which take 8 hours to charge..and theres 32 of them so it takes a while...!

Yeah battery life doesn't seem toooooo bad with a fully charged battery. It's the memory stick capacity that'll kill me. I get 12min per gig so will need a 2gig card and a laptop to dump the files to between sessions.

I was having big problems with vibrations but I think I've solved that by adjusting the mount so there's no metal on metal where it connects to the bike. Will do some more testing tomorrow on the way to work.
