    Cheap dual purpose bike wanted

Some time back my good lady was taken out by a car driver in a serious accident, she is now looking to get a cheap dirt / dual purpose bike to be able to get back in to some riding again, I am looking for something along the lines of an XL or XT 250 or similar for her to do some basic dirt riding, not hugely worried about condition but would need to have a good motor

And yes it was a serious accident, she spent almost 16 weeks in hospital, 12 broken bones etc, so she is doing great wanting to get back on a bike again

Anyone in the Hamilton region that can help out would be appreciated

Check out Chowns. They advertised K4 DRZ250 for $3395 - tidy, good rubber, new chain & sprocket. Bit heavy in the dirt, but good for easier rides. Hmm, just realised, may not be legal on road - mine was so forgot two versions - dumbass me. Worth a call tho - 07-8286456 or maybe www.chowns.co.nz
Good luck for both of you

I'm changing knobblies on the G/S soon, You could pick up the old ones when you're down and stick them on the CB
