I went for a few blasts around town with the vorb guys last summer, but haven't really been mountain biking for a while. Getting back into it now though! And at least I can wheelie the mountain bike :/

Yea, just went there the weekend before last and had a ball! I am getting a proper MTB by this week so I'll be doing it quite often now.

I am riding with Bruce the loose man these days. Man he can wheelie his push bike!! He was tellin me that there are some awesome bike parks down there in Welly as well.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Woodhill is great for sure, it's just a shame that it's a 40 odd minute drive to do some decent riding, where as in welly shit you ride anywhere, my old house backed onto the belmont regional park, then there was the fire breaks and it's been a while since i've been to makara but it was awesome when i was there and i'd imagine it'd be even better now.

Been riding my mtb solid for two and a bit months and man i feel alot better for it, did two track days recently back to back and i was stuffed after it, but would've been next to dead or unable to enjoy the second day if my fitness wasn't up to what it was and i can only get fitter.

Makes me wonder how fit the guys are at the top of racing doing 150 odd laps a day testing then going back and doing the same thing again and again and again, shit! But i can see for sure how important being in good condition when riding fast or just riding at all is. And the fact that i love riding my mtb and i get fit at the same time suits me just fine.
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'
