What a FAB day on the Coro - rode from Tga clockwise with a local club to Tapu for lunch - and carried on solo to do the loop - long overdue. I wacked 52 bux of gas in the tank in Coro - if you passed an ST with a silver top box (does my ass look big in this?) that was I. Thanks for great passing Guys, I didn't once spill my drink.

Thanks everyone for a great time. Weather was great, the roads pretty darn good and no, there definitely were no bins or incidents.

Great day Paul sorry I couldn't stay a bit longer but had to get back for a birthday party in Taupo.
Good to catch up with Bruce & Steve and the other reprobates,
Thanks to Steve & Gordy for the company home, enjoyed the cruisey run from Tairua to Waihi but totally rooted tonight.

    Till next time

Were you two-up? If so, I was following right behind and got a serious giggle going on when I saw you being all about giving the 'bus the learn through the gravel...

That is why it is better to refuel at Kopu. But, if the tank is low........

Thanks Paul for sorting such a fantastic day and also to the other riders for making my day so enjoyable. I think that this day should be a template for future rides and it certainly restored my faith in large groups. I was considering dropping out and very glad that I didn’t.

I met quite a few new faces who I would happily ride with again. Special mention to the orange Z1000 and pillion (sorry bad memory for names), was great running with you guys, good lines and good pace. Bike of the day for me belonged to Buelbabe, awesome custom graphics

I split away at Coro and took the opportunity to call in and see one of my riding buddies (Blackbird) who has recently shifted from Tokoroa. Great to catch up and thanks for the ear plugs. Ha was quite freaky to see pics of me posted in this thread by Kev from Coro while I was still actually on the ride.

Nice ride down the coast and home.

    Stunning day.

    Andy

Actually that was my 07 CBR600RR that you were following, ridden by Duckaddict. ( Not that Raj's arse is not sexy ) We'd swapped bikes at Coroglen. I was on his black GSX-R 750 following you. And that possum was a big fat one!!! Good to see that you didn't lose your composure after that!!
When in Taupo, stay with Paul and Sandy at CHANTILLYS MOTOR LODGE
For Suzuki Parts call Dan at COLEMANS SUZUKI - For Tyres ask for Danny at BOTANY HONDA

It's great to see such a fantastic benchmark set for future KB rides. My faith has been restored.

Anyone got any suggestions how we go about collecting names to go in the hat?
