ummm - how big is it... ?

At the moment (being the cynical bastard I am)... it has enough distinguishing features to make it... umm... a spider.... but not easily refined beyond that.

The last 2 pictures look photoshopped.

Will squish them as usual anyhow.

Isn't that a white tail? They're common now, unfortunately. The only spider I kill - there's debate about whether their bites are as awful as sometimes reported but I figure where my kids are concerned, better safe than sorry.

Apparently they love pebble gardens - so put bark down if you don't want them around your place. Of course, with bark you get cockroaches .....

    Anywhoo, check out the link....

white tails are more compact... shorter leg length. plus they are mainly black with a tip of white on their backs.

just stripped my bed, and there was a mega black spider under the bottom sheet... took the whole lot outside and shook it out... dunno if its gone though. not sure what it was other than black.

I did wonder about that, but no harm in being cautious.
