Isn't that a white tail? They're common now, unfortunately. The only spider I kill - there's debate about whether their bites are as awful as sometimes reported but I figure where my kids are concerned, better safe than sorry.

Apparently they love pebble gardens - so put bark down if you don't want them around your place. Of course, with bark you get cockroaches .....

This happens to me after every Maha Party that we have here, im sure my drinks get spiked with some sort of Venom! Mmmmmmmm, shall be watching those with skinny legs very closely next time.
