    The race wasn't started, he indicated we were doing one more lap to grid up

    You fell off on the warm up lap

    Ah the memories of when I lived down there, and no I never got sick of the snow because it never came often enough or stayed on the ground long enough in ChCh to be anything but fun - about 3 days was as long as I remember it - best years I remember being 1976 and 1992.

    Good on ya for riding today.

    Yeah, thats what I thought he signaled, as we waited for ages for some stragglers to grid up! That might explain why some rode like they did then?
