    new 1tonne booties

i just recieved some 1tonne "race boots" i purchased off trademe. they are rather spacey looking but are extremely comfortable. they cost a reasonable $200.
they are not the best to walk in as they are so stiff but are brilliant to ride with and are rather waterproof. they are warm and dont smell bad, yet.

build quality is impressive for the price, the zippers arent top notch but the rest of the boots are. they have removable toe sliders [only my knees hit the ground though, and on occasion my body] and adjustable shin support. i wont purposefully crash just to satisfy the critics out theere but they look and feel like very decent robust booties.

i would reccomend these boots to anybody if they dont mind the stiff ankle and shin support. warm, dry and great looking and im assuming will survive a decent crash.

    if anybodys interested pm 1tonne

Thanks for your feedback on our boots. The reason why they are a little stiff is because they are race boots, and race boots normally have a stiff sole for protection. Our touring boots have a comfortable sole. Regarding the zips, these are YKK zips and we have never had any problems with them at all.
Once again, thanks for your comments
    Cheers
