Vodafone users, incoming 'Outlook' e-mail setting please

Visiting some rural rellies who have moved to a Vodafone wireless internet connection and are having problems configuring their e-mail account on MS Outlook Express. We've got the out mail going fine but can't get it to pick up incoming mail. (The number I've got for Vodafone support doesn't seem to extend past mobile phones so I thought someone on KB will be able to help.)
Can someone using Vodafone check their Outlook setup and confirm the settings please?
I've got the incoming mail at 'pop3.vodafone.net.nz' and under the 'advanced' tab have the server port number as '110'.

Oh yeah, the error message we've been getting indicates that the host 'pop3.vodafone.net.nz' couldn't be found so I'm sure the problem is in one of these settings and I'm suspecting it's the port number.

Port 110 is correct for pop mail. I think your problem is it should be pop.vodaphone.net.nz because when I do nslookup for pop3.vodaphone.net.nz there is no such machine. but there is a pop.vodaphone.net.nz at 67.17.166.40

(nslookup resolves a name to a tcp/ip address - like looking up a name in the phone book and getting a phone number)

And leave the smtp port at 25, that is correct port for outgoing mail. Probably should be smtp.vodaphone.net.nz
