chicks, always getting in the way of a good boys night out.
the scrambler does the light Adv runs well. Change the tyres and rock on up.
It's fat n slow, but low C of G can punch it through places the big beemers struggle with.
limited suspension travel works against it. But it is cool as cool can be.
Ths year i'll get a s/hand Dr/Xr etc to throw over the cliffs, an limit the scrambler to camping trips/rally's an light adv runs.
    Perfect slow f**kers bike.

thats probably one of their biggest advantages.
Set up some good base line suspension, swap tyres, and you have :
    A reliable gravel/adv bike. (Conti TKC's)

A simple touring bike. (Tourace Tyres)

Slap on some BT45's and have a go at track days etc. (gotta do that this year).

    3 in one m/cycle.

Ahh f**k I've run out of beer.

i got that on loan for 2 weeks it was an 07 scrambler on trailwing (tyres)
it was set up for racing & only had 1 seat so not recmmonded for 2 as Mrs SLR found out
while she took the car home Stu on his KLR650 & me on the scrambler took the long way home
on the metal it handled superb even at 165k but on the tar seal like a whores drawers all over the place but it sounded & looked great (especially with me on it)
i think i will stick with the beamer can do both metal & seal with out changing tyres
