About what time are you planning on going through Paekakariki? Could meet up with the main group there. Over the hill road or via the coast?
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Weather willing, I'm contemplating shooting up to Manfield in the morning to ride down with Jarrod and the Palmy riders. If anyone else is interested drop me a pm.

We are aiming to leave Mobil Manfield by 9.15 after a briefing to all riders. We will make a stop at Levin Railway Station about 10.00 then head to down I would say that we would be at Paekakariki BP around 10.45 - 11.00 then following route to Avalon.

Anyone is welcome to join in anywhere along the way. This has been listed as an event with the NZ Police and they will support us where they can esp if there is huge numbers involved they will recognise our group from lead rider.

For those joining in along the way we ask that lead rider not be passed he'll be the one wearing fluro vest and that all road rules be obeyed. See you all Friday.

    Cheers

    Hi all.
I have just come from talking with Tia, Derek's partner. She has requested that between Avalon Park and the funeral home we stop at Derek's to escort him to the funeral home. She was unsure what time we will need to be there but at this time we guess around 12.45. The funeral home is only a few blocks away. Once Derek arrives at the funeral home she would like the bikes to circle the block once as a tribute before parking up. The family will be recording as much of this as they can so it can be shown to young Madix when he is older. The more bikes the better so lets make an effort.
